Clinical Intern

I am currently enrolled in the Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina Central University. I have worked in the social work field since September 2011. My goal as an intern is to create a safe space for clients to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard and supported. To do so, I utilize Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) to empower individuals while fostering a non-judgmental, empathic, and supportive environment. This approach honors clients' autonomy, promoting self-directed growth as I'm dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward wellness and resilience. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and trying new foods. I am very excited about this journey, and I look forward to working with you.
